Almost to Nothingness

I love this photograph, as the cohesive nature of the colours and balance of the horizon line work together to create a wonderful unity in the piece. The photograph's use of texture, created through the subtle tonal changes upon the clouds give the viewer a true sense of lightness and emphasises a feeling of floating; as though they are amongst the clouds themselves.

This purposeful reflection upon the viewer was well executed and the subtle vibrancy achieved through the lilac sky, balances well with the fluffy white of the grouped clouds. The capturing of clouds together gives a sense of layering, as though they are a surface that can be walked upon. This gives the viewer a feeling of power; as though they may also soar above the clouds.

Such a wonderful photograph, the colours are truly peace evoking.
