To be honest with you, there isn't much special about this image. Any tourist could take this photo and it would have the same effect. If you want to capture a beach (and hey, I understand that, why wouldn't you want to?) you have to make it interesting, you have to try and stand out from the norm. Make the picture interesting. Change you view point and try not to edit the photo so much. Leave it more natural, or enhance the saturation (though not by much). Really think about the composition when approaching a landscape photo like this, think about what message you want to put across, how you want to capture that, etc. Play on your light source. Maybe wait until noon and catch a shot of the sun sparkling off the waves and some unique looking tourists soaking up the sun. Make sure to up your shutter speed to catch a unique wave or a unique moment. Play around with panoramas, etc.
Then why'd you put it up there, asking for criticism? And I've looked through you're gallery, while you have some good shots, most aren't very impressive or unique, that's why I wrote the critique. I know that sucks to hear, but you have to hear it. Otherwise like I said, you won't improve.
And y'okay.
This one was just for fun.
