Firstly, I always love a macro shot of raindrops, but this has to be one of my favorites..
As for vision, you have captured the sense of damp weather really well, and the whole shot looks very much like a morning one, after some dew has settled. The title links well with the photograph as there is no movement, giving the impression of silence. The closeness also induces a sense of a separate atmosphere, again portraying a sense of quiet.
I have seen many shots similar to this, which is why It is not superbly original; however, the shot is very well taken, pushing it away from some of the mediocre plant shots, making the originality shine through.
The technique is outstanding. The perfect number of colours accentuates the white and blueish hues of the raindrops, and also makes the plant stand you against the plants present in the background. With the water running onto the stem of the leaves and to the centre of the shot and this adds the beam of white which emanates from the centre right part of the stem.
The impact os also great as most of the foreground dew drops are in focus which can be hard to manage in macro. Again, the simplistic colour scheme enveloped creates the stand out feeling of the shot, creating a powerful image.
Overall, amazing job, I'll look forward to seeing more!
