I personally do not like to catch any legendary Pokemon in any games without using the master as a scapegoat to help me out instantly. It's really tough to catch any of them including the trio's without a master ball. I just catch them with Master balls and that's it.

I caught a kyougra with a normal pokeball after 12 or 13 great balls -_-
